This is one thing I forgot to get before surgery. If you have a mastectomy you need something to hold the drains while you shower. My only complaint was since I had 4 drains I put 2 of them in the pouch around my neck, and 2 in the waist holder. I wish the waist holder was mesh so it would dry faster like the one around my neck. Once I had this ,I had so much more mobility.This made a double mastectomy far easier to rock instead of pinning drains to your clothes. The fabric is soft and the elastic belt perfect! It took my 70 year old male surgeon rather than my young female nurse navigator to tell me about it. I gladly paid the price and would pay for others to have one if they couldn't afford it. The relief I can’t get across as there are no words adequate to describe after sporting around bottles pinned to my new clothes. Bless this company. They just get it! ?This has been so helpful. Made very well. I have been using this for the last ten days. The only suggestion I have is to purchase two of them so that when you wash one you have one to wear while it is drying ( that being said they dry very quickly) This has been an invaluable part of my recovery with drain tubes. You will definitely need something like this if you are going to have drain tubes.I reccomend as it worked well for daytime and nighttime use. I found it helpful to move the pockets over to one side so I could sleep on my side. for more than 2 drains would need more than two pockets as 1 drain pretty much used up the pocket size. you don't need this for too long but it was great when I had my drains.The shower lanyard has been one of the most helpful products for post mastectomy. The belt allows me to wear any shirt and have my drains secured.I order this item after my bilateral mastectomy surgery because I realized that I needed something else to help me moved around easier than the way I was doing it. They actually work better than clipping the drains to the support bra because they add more weight to it and feels a bit on comfortable. You can even attach the pumps to the same belt if you need to leave the house. Just make sure you wash it on delicate before using it, remember your drains are an easy way for infection keep everything clean around them!!!Highly recommend and so glad I bought it.Drains are a pain. These helped make it a easier process. Shower one was a huge help !
