I had a picc inserted and needed this sleeve to shower. My picc is on my upper inner left arm so it's kinda in an awkward place. I was afraid the sleeve would be difficult to put on with one hand but it stretched easily over my picc without disturbing it and was easy to remove as well. Ahhh it felt great to shower!This thing was lifesaver for 6 weeks while we were dealing with a picc line. Always kept the dressing completely dry!Worked perfectly to keep the bandage on the elbow dry while showering.This was so great for keeping the pics line dry during a shower. We had been using press and seal to keep the line dry. This was so great to keep the picc line dry with out puling and tugging on the tender skin on the inside of the arm.A few days after having a PICC line inserted for 6 weeks of antibiotics I found taking a shower (without getting it wet) was a major pain. Having to tape a plastic trash bag on my arm (which still leaked a little) every time i took a shower was a hassle.I found this sleeve and thought If it works, it's worth the money and if not it's Amazon and I can return it.Well it worked great. Unlike the plastic bag, it too seconds to put on and kept the PICC line nice and dry. It held up for the entire 5 weeks and was still water proof.It's stored and available if I ever need it again (which I pray I won't).Protect your picc line so you can shower or bathe.I’ve used this for a few weeks now and it’s works well. I wish the seal was a bit tighter for piece of mind, but it hasn’t let water in. Only issue is that while the inside of the edges are made out of a wetsuit like material, the outside is a soft foam that instantly absorbs water. Doesn’t make any sense to me, but still, no water seems to penetrate.The arm sleeve was exactly what we needed during the time my wife had a pic line in her right arm. It was worth the price and make it easy to keep the pic line area dry when she showered.UPDATE: (Mach 8/21) Now that I've used it for a bit, I've been able to figure out how to make it so the water doesn't trickle in. After you put the sleeve on, give it a gentle tug/push where your arm goes into it. This creates a bit of an overlap/seal, which is what keeps your arm dry. You can see in the first picture that the dark lining of the sleeve is framing where my arm goes in. In the second picture I gently pulled the sleeve back & the black lining is now hidden & a seal has been made between your skin & the sleeve. Just be aware that this doesn't mean you can now do handstands in the shower, just move carefully & your PICC line should stay dry, (handstands are optional).Original Post:This item fit me prfectly (it will expand to fit your upper arm) & was relatively easy to put on by myself, but if you have a PICC Line like me, it's easier to get someone to help you. It wasn't possible for me to keep my arm completely dry, but next time I use it I will put a bit of hospital tape on it & hopefully that'll help. Overall though I find this to be a usefull item to use with a PICC Line.It works really well. I have large muscular dreamy arms and it is snug but not uncomfortable. I wouldn’t submerge it under water.Was a bit too small but nothing a pair of Cisco couldn't change really nice for shower with a picc line ?
